Grab A Piece of the Pie
What have you done with apples so far this fall? Probably not what we’re going to do at the October Resident Cooking Class at Serenity At Larkspur.
Join us on Wednesday, October 21 in the main clubhouse when Chef Alex from Big City Chefs brings in a recipe requested specifically by our residents – for the fanciest, best Apple Pie you will ever eat.
It’s probably not like Grandma used to make. Instead, this version of the popular dessert features:
- Sharp Cheddar pie crust
- Heirloom apples with brown sugar and cinnamon
- Sea salt caramel sauce
- Vanilla bourbon whipped cream
As usual we’ll begin the fall fun with a BYOB social hour starting at 6:15 p.m., and the cooking starts at 6:45.
