Help Make Summer Last at Our Resident Cooking Class

It’s September now, meaning fall is just around the corner. But at Serenity At Larkspur, we’re doing our part to prolong the warmest time of year as long as we can.

Our popular Resident Cooking Class for this month is set for Wednesday, September 16 in the main clubhouse. As usual our friend Chef Alex from Big City Chefs will be here in the kitchen, sharing late summer recipes for:

  • “Pan con tomate” – Grilled baguette with homegrown garlic, crushed early girl tomatoes, and three-year aged parmesan
  • Gazpacho of late summer vegetables
  • Bruschetta of ricotta cheese, roasted grapes, local honey, and arugula
Before class we’ll host the usual BYOB social hour, starting at 6:15 p.m. The cooking begins at 6:45. Registration is required for the event, and we encourage you to sign up early as most times all 30 available seats for the class fill up.

You can register here.

Head back to your Serenity home with some delicious late summer snacks to keep our minds off the cooler months ahead, and impress your friends, family and guests with great new recipes!
