New Playground Brings Communities Together

They say fences make good neighbors, but a playground certainly brings them together.

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, Serenity at Larkspur unveiled a new playground, which we donated to the City of Larkspur as part of our commitment to enhancing the living experience of our residents and to being a good neighbor to the surrounding community.

With the new playground, we saw an opportunity to build a bridge to the greater Larkspur community while transforming a picnic area and lawn into a fun space for families to gather. It will undoubtedly have a positive long-term impact on the community and our residents—especially for families.

In a recent edition of the Marin Independent Journal, Larkspur Mayor Catherine Way noted how private-public partnerships like this truly make a difference in a small city. “We need more of this. Much of our money goes to public safety, and things like this are really important parts of our lifestyle.”

Located in Neighborhood Park adjacent to Serenity, the 500-square-foot playground features monkey bars, climbing ladders and a swirling slide. The playground is open to all and ready for you and your family to enjoy!
