'Tis the Season for Scones
Avoid holiday treat overload! Join us for this month’s Resident Cooking Class on Monday, December 19 in the main clubhouse.
We’re guessing you’ll get your fix of seasonal sweets such as Christmas cookies, candy canes, cakes and pies elsewhere in the upcoming days. So instead, with the help of Chef Alex from Big City Chefs, we’re excited to share a tasty recipe combination you can turn to year-round, for breakfast or dessert:
- Buttermilk scones with persimmons and pecans
- Meyer Lemon curd
- Whipped apple cider
As usual we’ll start the fun with a BYOB social hour starting at 6:15 p.m., then start the cooking around 7. Seats are limited, so you’re encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
Soothe you sweet tooth with something different during those holiday celebrations. We’ll see you in the kitchen!
